The catch - Time travel

Time travel is a very interesting topic, it actually peaks my interest. I usually watch science documentaries of the sort. The documentary featured the world’s leading theoretical and astrophysicist in which they showed their views and theories about the said topic.
A learned a lot of new concepts about time traveling. I realized that one must master the concept of time. Theorists today view time as a dimension, the space-time dimension. This is very mind boggling for it introduces a new concept that is quite far-fetch to laymen. But one of my favorite physicist, Dr. Michio Kaku, explained that the 4th dimension is just simply inconceivable to us as the concept of “up” for 2D games like pacman. They each introduced their theories on how to travel time. They first laid facts and the proof that time traveling is possible. The first reason was mechanically shown by comparing the relative distances a light tick will travel. For the one moving at the speed of light, time propagates slower than the one who is still. This is the proof that time is not absolute, it does not pass by in a continuous and fixed rate. Another misconception is that there is a now well in fact we can’t unify and synchronize time in the universe. Although some views are purely theoretical at the moment such as the cosmic strings and wormholes there are some theories that have logical proofs. One is time travel by the use of light,  because light controls energy, energy controls gravity and gravity controls time, therefore light can control energy. The Experiment itself is rigorous but it is yet to be improved.

In all I am really glad the class gave time to really interesting topics of the sort. I mean think about all the possibilities we can attain if time travel is to exist. I say it’s limitless. Although there may be some groups against time traveling because of “moral” issues I still think that developing a way to control or travel in time will be a great help for the development of mankind. We are not just interested in sending people in time but also relevant information such as medicines, breakthroughs and news from the future!
